Artist Statement
I am not much for artist statements. That said, I make art intuitively, using images that I have some sort of kinship with. As the work progresses, so does the narrative. If the piece is not making sense to me, I try to work with it and allow the language of the image to flex a little. If things go well, I run over to my wife and tell her how excited I am. If all goes to hell, I run over to my wife and tell her how pissed I am. That is the nature of my process.
