I see the world as a series of manmade geometric forms imposed on natural topography.
Geometry is an idea about perfection but does not really exist in a perfect way. For example, the finest geometric forms we fabricate still have bumpy edges and other imperfections at a microscopic level.
I choose painting because in it I find the impossibility of geometry, the tension between concept and form, and the attempt of an object and an idea to become the same thing.
