 Molly Boarati is Assistant Curator at the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University, where she has worked since 2011. At the Nasher, she has curated exhibitions including Graphic Pull: Contemporary Prints from the Collection (2020-2021), All Matterings of Mind: Transcendent Imagery from the Contemporary Collection (2017) and Burk Uzzle: Southern Landscapes (2016). Co-curated projects include Across County Lines: Contemporary Photography from the Piedmont (2018-2019) and an upcoming show of regional artists (2021). Boarati also coordinated the groundbreaking exhibition Pop América: 1965-1975, among many others. She is currently working on Off the Map: The Provenance of a Painting (2021). She holds a BA from the University of Virginia and an MA in Art History from Boston University. Boarati has also held positions at The Phillips Collection, Washington, D.C., The Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, and the Boston University Art Gallery. (Photo by J Caldwell.)
