 Caitlin Chaisson is a curator and a critic. She has organized and co-organized exhibitions including Thomas Schütte (2024), The Museum of Modern Art, New York; The House Edge (2023), The 8th Floor Gallery, New York; Jaune Quick-to-See Smith: Memory Map (2023), Whitney Museum of American Art, New York; Drawing in the Continuous Present (2022) and Fernanda Laguna: The Path of the Heart (2022), both The Drawing Center, New York; and While the Underground Flickers (2021) at the Hessel Museum of Art, Annandale-on-Hudson. Her writing has appeared in Canadian Art, C Magazine, and frieze, among others. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia and an MA from the Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College. She is presently a Curatorial Assistant in the Department of Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art, New York.
