Candy colored finger painting meets playful cynicism and makes my tooth ache. I hope to suggest the oddities that take place in and develop from childhood interactions and aging, the personal fixations associated with private spaces, and the grand expectations attached to somewhat disposable and momentary instances. I am interested in uncovering the importance of and bringing humor to such domestic constants as stale milk and an overstuffed dust bag. Mundane and ordinary objects suggest entire histories. Sometimes I fall in love with the sponge in my sink.
