Artist Statement
Lately, I have been interested in memory, and how ideas and
events and people dissolve and fade. In my latest work, I have
been using words and song fragments and people’s names that
have meaning for me. I read a quote the other day that has really
stuck with me, by Montaigne: “The continuous work of life is to
build death.”
