Some Body That I Used to Know

I focus on the female universe. Drawing upon memories, photographs, and film stills, I construct my work as if writing a personal visual script. My paintings explore essential emotions—such as love, sorrow, and solitude—through an honest inquiry into the female experience, often imbued with a strong autobiographical dimension.
Deeply influenced by the language of cinema since childhood, my work seeks to capture atmosphere rather than narrative. Each scene is carefully composed—not as a spontaneous snapshot, but as a serene, staged moment in which light and color shape the subject's emotional tone.
I am drawn to the very nature of painting. For me, it functions as an introspective diary: a space to describe, process, and reconcile emotions and lived experiences. My work reflects states of introspection, longing, and human connection, inviting the viewer to pause and find solace in the stillness of each image.
