My work consists of simple geometric forms and ambiguous symbols created with traditional sign-painting materials and technique. Gilding with precious metal and using crushed glass smaltz and lettering enamel, reflect on a culture increasingly dictated by shallow advertising and flashy surface. An anxiety-inducing white noise results when our surroundings distort our definition of value and conflict with the natural world.
