Artist Statement
Art gives me a way to understand myself in the social
context. Through my work I explore my vulnerabilities and try
to thoughtfully share my experience. I use the subjects of the
figure and human detritus to expose what I find interesting,
strange, and absurd about being human. My paintings are
based in philosophical, visual, and fantastical observations of
the everyday.
