Miami Highlights: Basel and Aqua

Written by Andrew Katz Katz

Article hero image
I'm back from a crazy week in Miami and I have too many pictures for just one post...Or two or three for that matter. I figure the best way to tackle this is to post highlights from different fairs and collections each day of this week. To kick things off I thought it would be fun to start with two extremes, Basel and Aqua (the latter of which was voted by our readers as "The Best Miami Fair for Emerging Art" and recently purchased by Art Miami LLC). Tomorrow I'll post pictures from Pulse and Miami Projects. Wednesday I'll share photos from Art Miami and Untitled, and Thursday I'll wrap up the fairs with NADA and Seven. Finally, on Friday, I'll throw up some pics from a few different collections including Rubell, de la Cruz, and Margulies. - Andrew Katz, Associate Publisher _MG_9989 I tried to capture the energy surrounding the event and a few works that caught my eye. There is obviously so much more I could have posted. Hopefully this gives you a good taste. Enjoy!
