These works hover somewhere between two and three dimensions with cut paper forming abstract, color-driven shapes. I want to show the process of how a piece is put together and how it evolves in the making. The rough and bumpy surfaces represent a form of authenticity and, in some way, resemble real life. I enjoy working with maximum hands-on action, smoothing and attaching and cutting in a variety of media. I like repetitive, additive motions, re-working and rarely subtracting. More is more.
