I am interested in exploring relationships between bioethics and technology, fortuity and control, trauma and hope. My current oil paintings are based on watercolor studies capturing the tragic yet beautiful paradox of people close to death. The imagery and titles are intended to foster empathy with those who have experienced loss of function, identity, and open future.
