Artist Statement
Through a guided intuitive process I am exploring what I call an 'axis of clarity'óa psychological place where the essential core of the work reveals itself. Some of the strategies I set up to explore this terrain are: individual unit vs. whole; complex forms vs. fragility of material; immaterial (i.e. shadow/reflection) vs. concrete space.
