Artist Statement

My current work explores transcendental ideas of perfection and simplicity through esoteric design and repetitive geometry that give an illusion of control. Influenced by futurist design, space architecture, video game landscapes, and electronic music, the work mutates structure within constraints and variables. By bending the rules of formulaic restrictions—balancing design and chaos within predetermined parameters—it produces meta-iconic imagery. The aesthetic language acts as an evolving dialect, while questioning the value of the digital versus the physical. Speaking with an electronically influenced vocabulary of geometric and abstract shapes, the designs and objects present imagery as undefined icons, landscapes, and patterns.
