Artist Statement

My paintings radiate warmth—the kind that you feel at a family gathering, where voices overlap, and love is found in the simplest gestures.
My work is a celebration of home, not as a fixed place but as an emotion. It lives in a shared glance, the laughter of those who speak your language, the comfort of familiar rituals, and the ache of nostalgia. I am interested in creating a sense of intimacy, inviting viewers into moments that feel deeply personal yet universally familiar.
Bright colors pulse with life, distorted perspectives and textured brushstrokes encourage viewers to step closer. I paint interiors where the ordinary becomes sacred and a meal is an act of belonging. Though my figures remain anonymous, their emotions are universal.
I paint for those who have built new homes in unfamiliar places, for those who long for what they left behind, and for those who find comfort in family and community. By bringing everything into the foreground, my paintings invite viewers to enter these spaces and share in their warmth.
