Artist Statement
My compositions are marked by a kind of detached voyeurism. They're snapshots into the psychological interiors of the suburban mind. I attempt to inject a sense of unease into seemingly innocuous settings by pointing to the anxiety and awkwardness that lies just below the surface of my characters' humdrum lives.
