My work raises questions about our relationship with our
environment. I am interested in mankind’s clashes with nature,
however subtle or absurd they may be, and how our visions and
experiences of the natural and the manmade are shaped by our
cultural identities and personal characteristics. I am interested
in such human circumstances and situations both subjectively
and historically. I seek out the awkward within them, where the
possibility of a coincidental narrative can take shape. I am not
after a solution, solely the questions raised.
