In my work, I transform the materials and concepts of data recording, such as magnetic tape and binary code, into tangible objects and images. My sculptures and paintings mine the overlap between minimalism and the everyday, using industrially produced, self-assembly furniture and simple patterns to simulate the ones and zeros of data in a visually stunning manner. These pieces draw attention to (and alter perspective on) the digital processes permeating contemporary experience.
