Deborah Anzinger works in painting, sculpture, and video at the intersection of Black feminist, environmental, and geopolitical interrogation. Anzinger employs nontraditional materials such as living plants, Afro-kinky hair, and mirrors as openings to intimate and alternative aesthetics of being in the world.
